Ombriane Privacy Policy

Summary

Ombriane is designed as a zero-cloud wellness application. Physiological and session data used for nocturnal regulation are processed on your devices (phone and compatible Wear OS watch). We do not operate a backend that receives your biometric streams.

Data we process on-device

Depending on permissions you grant: heart-rate / HRV-related signals, motion, sleep-stage estimates (when available), app settings, local logs needed for safety features, optional morning check-in notes, optional encrypted local backups you create.

Data we do not collect by default

No account mandatory for core night features. No sale of personal data. No advertising ID tracking for ads. No cloud sync of biometrics to Ombriane servers (there are none for this product design).

Sharing

Data stays on your devices unless you export/share a file (e.g. therapist PDF, backup) via your own apps. Emergency SMS/call flows, if used, are user-initiated via system intents.

Security

Local encryption (e.g. SQLCipher / Keystore-backed keys) where implemented; screen security flags on sensitive UI; optional encrypted backup with your passphrase.

Retention & deletion

You can clear app data or use in-app wipe / uninstall. Uninstalling removes local app storage subject to OS behaviour.

Children

Not directed at children under 16.
